The targeting construct was designed to insert a loxP site in the intron upstream of Exon11 and FRT-flanked neo cassette followed by another loxP site into the intron downstream of Exon 11 of the Pld1 gene. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination excised the exon 11. (J:260679)
