The targeting construct inserted a loxP site upstream of exon 4 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site downstream of exon 6. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 4 through 6. (J:263975)
