CRISPR/cas9 genome editing used a guide crRNA [GTCCTACAAGGCAAGCCTAG] to insert an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES)/thymus cell antigen 1, theta (Thy1.1) a variant sequence into the 3' UTR of the gene.
