A CreERT2 with an FRT-flanked neomycin cassette replaced the translation START codon (ATG) in exon 2 of the Gnat2 gene by homologous recombination in the ES cells. Male chimeras were bred to ACTB-FLPe females for germline transmission and neomycin cassette removal. (J:338407)
