A BAC clone containing the Cxcl9 and Cxcl10 genes was altered by the insertion of a RFP and BFP gene into the ATG start site of the Cxcl9 and Cxcl10 genes, respectively. Transgenic mice carrying the construct express the spectrally distinct fluorescent reporter proteins which report the expression of the CXCR3 ligands. (J:191089)
