CRISPR/Cas9 technology generated a G to A change at position 290 (c.290G>A) resulting in a glycine to aspartate substitution at amino acid 97 (p.G97D). In addition, a synonymous AAG to AAA p.K95 mutation and CAG to GAA p.E373 mutation were introduced to avoid gRNA recognition and excision. G97D is a variant identified in a family with female infertility. (J:336445)
