Arginine codon 553 (AGA) in exon 15 was changed to threonine (ACA) (p.R553T c.165G>C) using an sgRNA and an ssODN template with CRISPR/Cas9 technology. This mutation is the equivalent of the human p.R551T mutation found in some NSCL/P (non-syndromic cleft lip with or without the palate) patients. (J:328230)
