The targeting cassette includes a loxP-Stop-loxP cassette, a neomycin-resistance gene integrated with the Stop cassette for positive selection. The insertion of this cassette in intron 1 results in disruption of the endogenous gene and no mouse Rgr is expressed. (J:101977)
