A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3 and a loxP site and FRT flanked neomycin cassette were inserted downstream of exon 6 via homologous recombination. FLP-mediated recombination removed the neomycin selection cassette, leaving loxP sites flanking exons 3-6. (J:324060)
