This transgene was created by an NcoI-NcoI restriction fragment containing sequence 5' to and 3' from the Atoh1 coding sequence. The coding sequence between the first ~2.5 kb and the last ~1.5 kb was replaced in-frame with the beta-galactosidase reporter gene (without NLS sequence). (J:60854)
