Hey2^{em1(cre/ERT2)Bzsh}

Using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, a cDNA encoding CreERT2 followed by a polyadenylation sequence was inserted into the last coding exon of Hey2 gene. A P2A peptide sequence was included in the targeting vector to link the Hey2 coding region (before translational stop codon) and CreERT2 cDNA, thus allowing expression of both Hey2 and CreERT2 proteins.
