The targeting construct inserted a loxP site downstream of exon 26 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left the Cyt-1 isoform-specific exon 26 floxed. (J:327942)
