A floxed neo cassette was inserted upstream of exon 28 and a K1362A was inserted in exon 28 via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Expression of RNA in the heart, liver, and lung from homozygous mice was 7% that of wild-type. (J:325044)
