A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and a loxP site and FRT-flanked pgk-neo cassette were inserted downstream of exon 5 via homologous recombination. Recombinase-mediated recombination removed the pgk-neo cassette and exons 4 and 5. (J:322066)
