A loxP site, FRT-flanked PGK-neomycin cassette, and second loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 2 and a third loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 2. The neomycin cassette was removed via flp-mediated recombination leaving exon 2 floxed. (J:271769)
