A EUCOMM targeting vector was used to create this conditional-ready floxed allele. The vector places an FRT site, splice acceptor site, IRES, lacZ cassette, loxP site, neomycin resistance gene cassette, second FRT site and second loxP site upstream of exon 2 and a third loxP site downstream of exon 2. Flp-mediated recombination removed the lacZ and neomycin cassette leaving exon 2 floxed. (J:236984)
