The transgene contains the following elements: ~7 kb sequence (HindIII-NotI fragment) upstream of Gata2 alternative first exon 1S, SV40 promoter and intron, GFP reporter gene cDNA, and SV40 poly(A) signal sequences. Two lines, 398 and 982, with 3-5 and 1-2 copy numbers, respectively, were generated. Both lines showed expression of the reporter in para-aortic splanchnopleura in E9.5 embryos and fetal liver in E11 embryos. (J:55733)
