The targeting vector includes a) a sequence encoding an in-frame HA epitope tag within the prodomain following amino acid 61, b) sequence encoding an in-frame myc tag within the mature domain, four amino acids downstream of the S1 cleavage site, and c) a neomycin selectable marker flanked by loxP sites upstream of exon 4. The neomycin gene was removed via cre-mediated recombination. (J:213855)
