A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette and second loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 4. The neomycin cassette was removed via flp-mediated recombination. Exon 4 was deleted via cre-mediated recombination. (J:329181)
