The following elements were inserted into the ROSA locus: the CAG promoter, a loxP site flanked STOP cassette, a Hoxa2 cDNA tagged with a 3xFLAG, an IRES-EGFP, a WPRE element, a bGH poly(A) and a PGK-neomycin cassette. Only after cre-mediated removal of the STOP cassette will this allele express the Hoxa2 and EGFP genes. (J:320009)
