The targeting vector contains an H2B::mCherry fusion protein (coding sequence for the human HIST1H2BB gene [histone 1 H2bb] with a C-terminal red fluorescent protein gene) followed by polyadenylation (pA) sequence and a PGK-puromycin resistance (puro)-pA cassette. The vector is used to replace the entire coding region of the gene. (J:330613)
