This Vsx2 enhancer was targeted with sgRNAs (UGGUGAUGGAGCGCAUAGCG and GGGCAGUGCAUCCCCUGUGG) and an ssODN template (CCAGCCACTGTCCCAGCCCGGGCTCTAAGTCTGACCCAAGCCGAAGTGCCTGCGCCCCGCTGGTGGGTGGGTGTGGACATCTTCCAGGCCCCAGGACACACCAGGAATCAAGAGGGAGGT) using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, resulting in a 4,045 bp deletion (chr12:84592972-84597016 GRCm39).
