A loxP was inserted before exon 2 and Frt flanked Neo cassette followed by a loxP site were inserted after exon 3 in the mouse Kiz gene by targeting. The exons 2 and 3 and neo cassette were deleted by cre-mediated recombination in germ cells. (J:323858)
