The targeting construct inserted a loxP site upstream of exon 4 and downstream of exon 7 an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left exons 4 through 7 floxed. (J:266295)
