CRISPR-targeting introduced a coding region modification (del9080). Exons 2-3 were targeted for deletion. mRNA and protein levels were reduced by half in lung tissues from heterozygous mutant mice. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in lung tissues from homozygous mutant mice. (J:293217)
