These mice carry loxP sites flanking exon 2. Additionally, an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene was inserted downstream of the floxed exon 2. When crossed with a Cre recombinase-expressing strain, this strain is useful in eliminating tissue-specific conditional expression of the gene. (J:238766, J:307574)
