Site-directed mutagenesis and PCR were used to add His and FLAG epitopes (ASGHHHHHHGMDYKDDDDKGLG) to the c-teminus of a cDNA for rat GABAA receptor 2 subunit (GABAAR2), short form. Enhanced YFP was inserted between amino acids 4 and 5 of the mature 2 peptide coding sequence. A mouse Thy1 promoter drives expression of the construct. (J:204699)
