This transgene expresses a Tcra and Tcrb clone specific for the M38-derived epitope of MCMV. The "Maxi" mouse is transgenic for the rearranged M38 hybridoma Tcra and Tcrb chains, resulting in a percentage of M38-specific CD8 T cells among total nave CD8 T cells of around 90%. (J:183174)
