Tg(TcrbM38)330Biat

This transgene expresses a Tcrb clone specific for the M38-derived epitope of MCMV. The "Mini" mouse is transgenic for the rearranged hybridoma Tcrb chain only, which was expressed by nearly 100% of the CD8 T cells, while the Tcra chain is of endogenous origin. This increases the percentage of nave M38-specific CD8 T cells from undetectable levels in C57BL/6 mice to 10% of the total. (J:183174)
