A loxP site was inserted 322 bp upstream of exon 3 and an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette and second loxP site were inserted 226 bp downstream of exon 3. The neomycin cassette was removed via flp-mediated recombination leaving exon 3 floxed. (J:251087)
