The targeting vector inserted a loxP site upstream of exon 20 and a neomycin resistance cassette flanked by FRT- and loxP site downstream of exon 21. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neomycin resistance cassette and left exons 20 and 21 floxed. (J:286480)
