The targeting vector is designed to insert a loxP site, followed by an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette, upstream of exon 2. A second loxP site is inserted downstream of exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. (J:325275)
