Exons 3-7 were flanked by loxP sites. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene was inserted upstream of the first loxP site. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neomycin resistance gene. Exons 3-7 were deleted via cre-mediated recombination. (J:317639)
