A loxP site and an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette were inserted 411 bp upstream of exon 13 and a second loxP site was inserted 96 bp downstream of exon 15. Exons 13 to 15 and the selection cassette were removed via cre-mediated recombination. (J:231108)
