The targeting construct was designed to insert an FRT-flanked neomycin cassette as wells a one loxP site upstream of exon 4 and one loxP site downstream of exon 5. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left exons 4 and 5 floxed. (J:298381)
