Using CRISPR/Cas9 system, the exon 2 of mouse S100a4 was targeted to induce 7 bp deletion. This deletion leads to frame-shift in the last amino acid sequence encoded by exon 2, and results in a premature stop codon in exon 3. (J:299945)
