A 2A-icre/ERT2 is introduced between the coding sequence of Gad2 Exon 16 and 3' UTR. Neo cassette flanked by frt sites was inserted within intron 15 to avoid disrupting poly(A) signal of Gad2 and promoter region of Apbb1ip, a gene nearby. After homologous recombination in ES cells, the neo selection cassette was removed by Flp recombinase. (J:243876)
