A 2A-icre/ERT2 is introduced between the coding sequence of Slc17a7 Exon 12 and 3' UTR. Neo cassette flanked by frt sites was inserted within intron 11 to avoid disrupting poly(A) signal of Slc17a7. After homologous recombination in ES cells, the neo selection cassette was removed by Flp recombinase. (J:243876)
