This construct comprises a splice acceptor, a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene and STOP cassette, a codon-optimized mouse Hoxa5 cDNA,I RES sequence, the GFP fluorescent marker gene and poly(A) signal sequences inserted into the ROSA locus on BAC RP23-401D9. Only after cre-mediated removal of the neo-STOP cassette will this allele express the Hoxa5 and GFP genes. (J:306314)
