The targeting construct introduced a loxP site downstream of exon 2 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site downstream of exon 5. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Cre-mediated recombination deleted exons 3 through 5 floxed. (J:306995)
