The targeting cassette floxed exons 3 and 4 and inserted an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette proximal to the exon 3 loxP site. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 3 and 4. (J:82809)
