A CreERT2-ires-EGFP followed by an FRT-flanked PGK-Neo cassette was inserted by homologous recombination in place of the initial ATG codon of the Pou2f3 gene of C57BL/6J-derived ES cells. Chimeric mice were mated with an FLP strain to remove the PGK-Neo cassette. (J:288632)
