Using standard homologous recombination techniques in embryonic stem (ES) cells, a targeting construct consisting of a T2a-Cre-TGA codon; Frt-PGK:NeoR-pA-Frt cassette was inserted immediately upstream of the stop codon in Avpr1a. The neo selection cassette was excised using a Flp-deleter strain. (J:292971)
