CRISPR/cas9 genome editing is used to insert loxP sites flanking exon 8 (with respect to transcripts Taf1-202 or -206) or exons 8-9 (with respect to transcript Taf1-201). Approximately 55 kb spanning the loxP sites was sequenced.
