The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 2850bp between positions 6884133-6886982 of Chromosome 19 (Build GRCm39). The entire coding region of Prdx5 was replaced with a LacZ reporter gene and floxed neomycin resistance cassette. Subsequent cre expression excised the neomycin selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in splenocytes from homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:271141)
