The allele was created by inserting the cre/ERT2 cassette at the translation start site of the mouse Clu locus in R1 ES cells using CRISPRCas9-mediated homologous recombination. The neomycin cassette was removed by crossing Clucre-ERT2 mice with Flp recombinase-expressing mice. (J:283362)
