The targeting construct introduced replaced the first 337 bp of the coding sequence in exon 1 a membrane-targeted Venus reporter gene (myr-Venus), a T2A sequence, the coding sequence of the endogenous gene, three FLAG epitope tags, and polyadenylation sequence (bGH PolyA). Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neomycin selection cassette introduced downstream of the inserted sequence. (J:301247)
