A KOMP targeting vector was used to introduce an FRT flanked lacZ gene, a loxP site and neo cassette and a second loxP site upstream of exon 3 and a third loxP site downstream of exon 3. Flp mediated recombination removed the lacZ and neo, leaving exon 3 floxed. (J:287362)
