A loxP site was inserted into intron 3 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene and a second loxP site into the 3' UTR in exon 4. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination, leaving a conditional-ready allele with exon 4 floxed. (J:300667)
