The targeted locus contains a PGK-neo cassette flanked by two FRT sites and two LoxP sites at the limits of the region to be excised. The region to be deleted contains the first exon and its upstream region. The PGK-neo cassette was removed by breeding to general deleter Flp mice. (J:272122)
